US, Phoenix: Phoenix 2nd Alarm Commercial Structure Fire
Phoenix, United States - December 03, 2025 12/03/2025 12:41 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – According to officials at the scene, Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a commercial structure fire near the 1000 block of North 22nd Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters found a large warehouse for aerospace components, with heavy smoke and flames visible through the roof. Crews quickly identified placards on the building that confirmed the presence of hazardous materials within the structure. The assignment was upgraded to a first alarm, followed by a second alarm, drawing additional Phoenix Fire Department resources to the scene. A short time later, a defensive operation was declared, prompting all firefighters to evacuate the structure. Two tower ladders were extended over the structure, allowing crews to deploy elevated master streams into the seat of the fire. Knockdown was achieved shortly thereafter. Phoenix Fire Department Hazmat crews are currently working to identify the chemicals found inside the structure. Crews are expected to remain at the scene throughout the early morning hours until all hazards have been mitigated and the overhaul is completed. No injuries have been reported, and Phoenix Fire Department investigators are working to determine the origin of the fire.
