Los Angeles, United States - December 04, 2025 12/04/2025 12:00 am GMT-0800 PORTER RANCH, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Santa Ana winds are expected to peak Wednesday night into Thursday, bringing strong gusts across Southern California. Residents should prepare for road debris, strong crosswinds, and the possibility of isolated downed trees or powerlines. The forecast indicates that stronger gusts, ranging from 30 to over 45 mph, will primarily affect the mountains and foothills of LA and Ventura counties, particularly near Acton, Santa Clarita, Lancaster, Pyramid Lake, and Northridge. In contrast, coastal and valley areas are likely to experience lighter gusts of 10 to 25 mph. The strongest winds may reach 50 to 55 mph in the most wind-prone passes and canyons.
