Mountain biker faceplants into muddy water after hitting hidden log in Colombia
Filmer Dayro Montes Perez captured this hilarious mishap during a ride along the "Ruta de la Panela" in San Marcos, Sucre, Colombia, on July 13, 2025.
The footage shows a cyclist attempting to pedal through a deep, muddy puddle on the trail. However, a submerged tree trunk hidden beneath the surface brings his ride to an abrupt halt.
The bike pitches forward, sending the rider splashing face-first into the brown water. His fellow cyclists erupt in laughter, with one joking in Spanish, "Papa, este video tiene plata!" (Buddy, this video is money!) as the soaked rider retrieves his bike.
