Lebanon - December 04, 2025 The Israel Defense Forces reported that they carried out strikes on several Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, the sites were located within civilian areas, which the military said reflects Hezbollah’s continued use of civilian infrastructure as cover for its activities. The IDF stated that precautions were taken prior to the strike to minimize the risk to civilians, including issuing warnings, using precision munitions and conducting aerial surveillance supported by additional intelligence. The presence of the targeted storage sites was described by the military as a violation of existing understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF added that it will continue operating to remove threats to Israel.
