This is the shocking moment an overloaded motorcycle taxi carrying tourists toppled over backwards.

Dashcam footage captured by Aphisit Summart shows the tricycle driver accelerating out of a parking space at Nai Yang Market in Phuket, Thailand.

Upon twisting the throttle, the vehicle tumbled over, along with the holidaymakers sitting in the sidecar, on December 1.

Aphisit and his friend can be heard screaming in shock inside the car as they witnessed the incident unfold.

Locals rushed to help the motorist and the vacationers by pulling the three-wheeler back into position.

Aphisit Summart said: 'The motorcycle was carrying a full load of tourists. But the moment the driver accelerated, the front wheel lifted off the ground, and the entire vehicle did a wheelie flip. Thankfully, no one was injured.'
