Vancouver, United States - December 02, 2025 On December 2, around 8:00 p.m., CCSO deputies were investigating a residential burglary and vehicle theft in Northeast Vancouver. The suspect was accused of entering a garage, stealing a vehicle containing a firearm, and fleeing. A short time later, officers learned the stolen vehicle was parked at a Starbucks near W. Main St. and SR-503 in Battle Ground. Battle Ground Police arrived, found the vehicle, and believed the suspect was still inside. With a firearm involved and the risk of escape high, officers called for added support, including CCSO units using a Grappler pursuit immobilization system. When deputies and officers moved in, the suspect accelerated, dodged patrol vehicles, and sped away from the lot. A pursuit began, and stop sticks were deployed. Even with damaged tires, the suspect kept driving until CCSO used the Grappler to immobilize the vehicle near Northeast 72nd Ave and SR 502 in Dollars Corner. The suspect then rammed two patrol cars, heavily damaging one of them. Deputies had to jump aside to avoid being struck. Deputies then pinned the vehicle and safely detained the driver. No deputies were injured. The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Danielle Crosby. She was arrested on multiple felony charges, including Residential Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft, Firearm Theft, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Assault II, and Felony Attempting to Elude. Crosby, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing firearms and has previous charges for unlawful firearm possession. She was booked into the Clark County Jail.
