US, Los Angeles: Florence Chickens Cause Eggstreme Traffic Hazard
Los Angeles, United States - December 06, 2025 12/06/2025 01:40 am GMT-0800 FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department issued a radio broadcast about a traffic hazard Saturday morning due to chickens running in the roadway at the intersection of Florence Avenue and Central Avenue. The incident occurred when a truck carrying live chickens experienced a partial crate failure, causing some crates to spill onto the roadway and allowing the chickens to escape. Several good Samaritans stopped to assist the driver in capturing the runaway chickens. Unfortunately, some of the chickens were struck by vehicles in hit-and-run incidents.
