Dramatic footage has emerged of a sinkhole opening up suddenly on a road in China.

The video, captured in Zhengzhou, Henan Province on Monday, shows the large hole opening up in the middle of a busy road.

In one of the shots, several members of the public can be seen hauling a young woman out of the sinkhole, which is filled with water.

According to local reports, a bus driver managed to spot the cracks in the road opening up and swerved away to safety.

Two people were rescued from the sinkhole, but an adult and a child have yet to be found.

The video, captured in Zhengzhou, Henan Province on Monday, shows the road collapse causing a huge sinkhole with water inside, while a man and a woman are pulled up.

The bus changes the lane to avoid the collapsing road and speeds up to drive away.

Because the bus driver saw the crack on the road, he thought it might collapse. Thus, he braked immediately and changed lane to left. Then, he speeded up to drive away.

The road started to collapse when the bus just passed.

More than 20 passenger on bus all escaped the road collapse.

Three adults and one child dropped into the sinkhole from three electric bikes, while one woman and one man were rescued, another adult and the child haven't been found yet.
