7. VARIOUS OF WRECKAGE OF DAMAGED VEHICLES AND EXCAVATORS AROUND KHAN YONUIS, PALESTINE - DEC. 7, 2025: Israeli attacks on the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis have left the municipality unable to provide basic services, officials stated on Sunday, Dec. 7.

Saib Lukan, the municipality’s public relations officer, said the latest strikes caused extensive destruction to infrastructure and service vehicles, adding that more than 400,000 tons of rubble and an additional 350,000 tons of uncollected waste now cover the city.

He noted that the targeting of numerous municipal service vehicles left them inoperable, creating severe obstacles to the municipality's ability to provide essential public services.

The Israeli army continues to hold control of the southern and eastern corridors of the Gaza Strip, along with large parts of the north, covering more than 50% of the enclave.

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire it signed with Hamas, having committed hundreds of violations and killed 366 Palestinians as of last Thursday, according to official Gaza sources.

Israel has killed more than 70,000 people, mostly women and children, and injured nearly 171,000 others in attacks in Gaza since October 2023.
