The two leaders held a meeting with their delegations following the ceremony.
During his visit, which comes at the invitation of President Erdogan, Orban will attend the seventh meeting of the Türkiye–Hungary High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, according to a statement by Burhanettin Duran on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.
The parties will discuss all aspects of the enhanced strategic partnership relationship, and exchange views on the current regional and global issues, Duran said.
Various agreements are expected to be signed to strengthen the contractual basis of bilateral relations, he added.
