Phoenix, United States - December 08, 2025 12/08/2025 12:19 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Fire Department responded to a fiery traffic collision near the intersection of 55th Avenue and Camelback Road shortly after midnight on Monday. Firefighters arrived on the scene and found a power-wash truck that had been struck by a passenger car, causing both vehicles to erupt into flames. Initial reports indicate that the operator of the power-wash truck was parked at a bus stop in the eastbound lanes of Camelback Road and was outside the vehicle cleaning the bus stop at the time of the crash. Firefighters extinguished the flames consuming both vehicles. The driver of the passenger car was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. Camelback Road was closed in both directions as the Glendale Police Department investigated the incident.
