Kittens rescued from inside car engine by residents at parking area
This is the heartwarming moment a litter of kittens inside a car engine was rescued by residents at a parking area.
Maisarah and her husband were heading out when they saw a note clipped to their windshield about two kittens that had been put in the engine bay of their grey sedan in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
This prompted the woman's husband to open the bonnet and take the kitties out, only to find five baby cats lounging inside on December 7.
Footage shows the man carefully removing the felines by grabbing them by the scruff and placing them in a cardboard box.
Maisarah said: 'We were on our way out when we saw a note on our front car window. It said there were two kittens in our car engine.
'We knew the mummy cat had recently given birth to more than two kittens, so my husband checked the car, and all the kittens were inside our car engine. Then he carefully took out all five kittens whilst the mummy cat was beside us watching. She had that innocent face.
'We gave her an earful, saying it's dangerous to put her kittens inside the engine. The mummy cat still hangs around our apartment's car park to this day. The residents here keep feeding them, and all the kittens are healthy and safe.'
