Swimmer holds onto rope while being pulled by ship
This is the amusing moment a swimmer was seen holding onto a rope while being pulled by a ship.
Seafarer John Paul Lato spotted the man gripping the rubber wheel as the MV Nelvin Jules departed Matnog Port in Sorsogon, the Philippines.
Footage shows the delighted man smiling and nodding to the crew as he clings to the black inflatable ring attached to the rope on December 8.
He can be seen being dragged off the coast, seemingly enjoying the ride.
John Paul said: 'I went outside to check the ropes and ramp of the ships when I saw him smiling at us. He asks for coins being thrown by passengers in the boat.'
