US, Los Angeles: Westlake Car Catches Fire After Crashing Into Park
Los Angeles, United States - December 10, 2025 12/10/2025 12:44 am GMT-0800 WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles firefighters and police officers responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed and caught fire in MacArthur Park. Firefighters arrived to find a Mercedes SUV engulfed in flames. The driver was able to exit the vehicle before first responders arrived. He was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. It appears the man was traveling from Wilshire Boulevard when he crashed into the park below, narrowly missing the lake. The SUV partially caught fire as a result of the impact. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
