A hilarious video has emerged from the UK of a drunk man falling over while trying to bowl.

The footage, captured at a bowling alley in Leeds last Friday, shows the man losing his balance after one of his friends shouts 'spiders!'

Instead of releasing the ball, the man holds onto it and ends up collapsing onto his backside.

According to the man, he had been consuming alcohol before attempting to bowl.

"After having a few shots of Sambuca this was the result," he wrote online.

"I fell over on the bowling Lane with the ball still attached to my fingers as my pal shouted spiders at me."

"I hate spiders," he added.
