US, Los Angeles: Ventura Overturned Semi-Truck Shuts Down 101 Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - December 27, 2025 12/27/2025 02:29 am GMT-0800 VENTURA, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol and Ventura City and County Fire Departments responded to a traffic collision early Saturday morning on northbound Highway 101 at Solimar Beach. A semi-truck overturned onto its driver's side, blocking all northbound lanes. Traffic was diverted off the highway at the State Beaches exit, where a hard closure was initiated. Motorists were redirected onto the Pacific Coast Highway. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured. All northbound lanes from Ventura into Santa Barbara will remain closed for an unknown duration.
