Oil Rig Transocean Winner on Rocks at Dalmore
The ill-fated oil rig Transocean Winner was on her final tow to Malta, for scrapping when she broke her tow and ran aground at Dalmore off the west coast of the island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Just ove a week later salvage tugs are on site and it is expected that an attempt will be made within the next 24 hours to refloat the stricken rig.
