Awesome footage has emerged from Brazil of a 60-year-old Chinese rickshaw driver who "pedalled from China to Rio" because he loves the Olympics so much.

The video, captured in Rio de Janeiro last Tuesday, shows Chen Guanming pedalling his rickshaw around Brazil's Olympic stadium.

Chen has ridden to three Olympic Games in the past, after he embarked on a crazy adventure 17 years ago with the aim of becoming an Olympics Chaser.

He rode to Beijing in 2008, London in 2012 and now Brazil in 2016 and plans to ride to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, where he will end his global journey.

Inspiring footage has emerged from Brazil, of a 60-year-old Chinese “Olympic madman” pedalling his rickshaw from China to Rio.

The video, captured in Rio last Tuesday, shows the man named Chen Guanming pedalling his rickshaw around the Rio Olympic stadiums.

Some people stop him to take pictures with him.

According to local reports, Rio Olympic Games was the third Olympic Games Chen rode to.

He put all his stuff in his rickshaw, which was as heavy as 400 pounds.

Chen embarked the crazy adventure as an Olympics chaser 17 years ago. He travelled around China before he attended the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Then, he rode to London in 2012 and he is in Rio this year.

Chen would ride to 2020 Tokyo Olympics as well and planned to finish his global journey there.
