Triple fly out due to an accident on Snake Road outside Mount Carmel, Pa.

Rescue Fire Fighters worked for over 40 minutes to free several occupants from a Buick Century that hit a tree head-on on Snake road near the Schuylkill/Northumberland County line. Heavy entrapment forced firefighters to removed the roof, roll the dash and remove all the doors in order to free the 5 victims. 3 of the Patients were then transported to the Mount Carmel Area High School for aeromedical transport to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville while 1 additional passenger went via ground and 1 refused assistance and will seek medical attention independently.

The vehicle was traveling from the Schuylkill county side of down Snake Road, toward Mount Carmel in Northumberland County when the driver lost control due to excessive speed. Police measured Skid marks of over 250 - 300 ft. as it slid across both lanes of this lightly traveled road prior striking a tree.
Responding to this incident were Rescue crews from Kulpmont, Mount Carmel and Mount Carmel Township.
Mount Carmel Township Patrolman Brian Carnuccio is investigating the accident.

One out of control female member of the Fire Police could be overheard telling news and crime scene photographers that they must have their boss call her for permission to access the scene on a public road. All while selectively permitting others unfettered access to the scene.
