Summer Storm batters Cornish Coast

Multiple flood warnings were issued by the Environment Agency for the coast of SW Cornwall as a powerful summer storm sent waves up to twenty feet crashing into the, usually tranquil, Cornish coves. At Sennen huge seas broke over the sea wall as a the low pressure system coupled with a spring tide meant that fishing boats had to be pulled high out of the rising waters.

Don't worry though, patches of sun were already breaking out as the storm passes through!
