A funny video has emerged of a girl in a giant teddy bear costume falling over as she tries to make her little brother laugh.

The footage, shot at a home in Medina, TN, USA on Saturday, shows Maddy, 12, wearing the "skin" of a giant teddy bear after she removed the stuffing from it.

According to Maddy's mother, she wanted to prank her father by making him believe she was a real teddy bear.

The plan failed when all siblings started laughing as the father came home, so Maddy decided to act silly to amuse them.

"keep in mind this is a stuffed animal and there are no eye holes, so she is completely blind inside of this stuffed animal" the mother wrote online.

"I hit record, asked her to do something silly again, and what happens next gave all of us the best laugh we've had in a very long time!"

At our home, in the small town of Medina, TN, my 12 year old daughter (Maddy) decided she wanted to cut the back out of her giant stuffed teddy bear, remove most of the stuffing and play a prank on her father. The plan was foiled when her dad noticed the bear didn't look right and she giggled. Her 2 year old brother, Brayden, wanted to play with the "like be teddy bear" she would dance around and do some cheer moves (keep in mind this is a stuffed animal and there are no eye holes. So she is completely blind inside of this stuffed animal) We all got such a good laugh out of her acting silly I wanted to record her doing this to share on Facebook with friends and family. So, I hit record, asked her to do something silly again, and what happens next gave all of us the best laugh we've had in a very long time!! My sons reaction to her falling was even funnier! I posted the video and next thing I know, e have over 2,000 views and 20 some odd shares. Every one loved the video as much as we did and watched it over and over for a good laugh.
The next morning, Maddy woke up with a very sore tail!!
