Tumbleweed Storm in Rush Colorado
After a particularly wet spring and dry summer in Rush Colorado this year, tumbleweeds grew in large quantities. This spectacular video, taken on the 16th of November, shows the moment these plants uprooted and inundated a rural road. Hundreds of tumbleweeds are seen blowing onto the road, reducing visibility and astonishing the driver and passenger who filmed this video.
Tumbleweeds are plants that, once mature and dry, disengage from the root and tumble away in the wind.
