Police officer carries disabled elderly woman for 1km so she can catch her train on time
Heartwarming footage has emerged from China of a policeman carrying an 80-year-old disabled woman so she can catch her train on time.
The video, filmed in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province on Monday, shows the officer carrying the woman into the train station while his colleagues carry her luggage.
According to local reports, the woman forgot her ID card so had to go home but that left her with very little time to catch her train, so the police stepped in to help.
The officer reportedly carried her approximately one kilometre so she could go and get an ID card.
She eventually got on her train just three minutes before it was due to depart.
