British mechanics find spider that looks like a black widow in imported van
A scary video has emerged of a cannibal spider that looks like a black widow eating a common house spider near Shrewsbury, UK.
The footage, shot at CEVL automotive last Thursday, shows the dangerous spider feasting on another spider after it was caught in a van imported from the US.
"Upon commencement of work on a [Volkswagen] split screen camper van imported from California, our mechanic James Shelvey, upon removing the rear wheel jumped back in astonishment as a spider dropped to the floor, gingerly it was captured using the old jamjar/piece of paper technique," the filmer said.
They identified the spider as a black widow and called the local Exotic zoo owner to come and collect it.
