The spoof iPhone 7 'hack' you really should NOT try

Buy video

After vlogger TechRax released a spoof YouTube video of him drilling a hole in the bottom of his new iPhone 7 to get the now-absent headphone jack, it seems some people might need to be warned not to actually try it.

People have been joking online that his hack didn't work, and news reports are warning people not to try it at all... because it will obviously destroy your phone.

The funny spoof video, filmed in California, USA a week ago, shows TechRax putting the phone in a vice and drilling a 3.5 mm hole in the bottom of the phone, where the headphone jack used to be on the iPhone's previous incarnations.

He regularly destroys iPhones and other tech products in creative ways for his YouTube channel.
