Young girl hearing for the first time with her cochlear implant
Our daughter is 5 years old and was born with moderately severe - profound hearing loss. Her left ear is deaf and was no longer receiving benefit from her hearing aid. We made the decision to get her a cochlear implant. We never knew what she was missing before. This video was taken as she stepped out of the hospital after the audiologist turned on her cochlear implant.
