Pulsating Northern Lights
the northern lights were seen all night sunday-monday.
watched them from Sandgerdi Cottages in southwest Iceland in the evening at nightfall, then clouds killed the show for some time but later it cleared. It was very nice. At 1 AM I was so tired , I forced myself to go sleep despite the activity that was still ongoing. At 4 AM I woke up and and returned outside to find the aurora borealis was still huge, now under almost cloudless skies... and it was pulsating ! On top of its motion and movements, there was also a pulsating move, with a pulse of about 4 pps.
