Footage has emerged from Canada of an animal photographer "chatting" with a female black bear and her four cubs.

The video, filmed at Little Big Bear Safari in Acadieville, New Brunswick on September 21, shows George Hachey - the safari's official photographer - sitting down and calmly talking to and feeding the imposing animals.

"We understand the risks, but are very passionate about what we do," he later wrote online.

This video was taken on Wednesday September 21st 2016 at the Little Big Bear Safari in Acadieville New Brunswick. My name is George Hachey, official Photographer for the safari since 2006, and tour guide since 2004. with responsibilities like taking the tourists to the Tree House where they can view myself walking with as many as 18 black bears at the time. In this video, I'm chatting with Lady mother of 4 cubs, but only 3 on the video. Telling her how it started. People world wide come join us every day, with a tree house that can entertain as many as 40 tourists. It is better to reserve in advance if you are planning to come take photos, summers book quite rapidly. Season go from mid May to Mid October, and it's always a new adventure. Even critiques that have visited, come over and over. These bears are wild, and are very dangerous. Don't try this at home. We understand the risks, but are very passionate about what we do.
