Couples in China press ahead with rainy weddings despite Typhoon Megi

Footage has emerged of several couples who decided to press ahead with their weddings despite Typhoon Megi making landfall in China.

The video, captured in Ningde, Fujian Province on Wednesday, initially shows groomsmen carrying a palanquin while the rain pounds down around them.

There is also footage of a bridge and groom riding a horse, with the groom unable to move because of the strength of the wind.

While, another couple are being guided through floodwater on board a boat.
