Hilarious footage of a Scotsman losing his temper with his car's phone's voice-control phone system because it can't understand him.

The video was filmed last week while while Paul Lees, 43, was driving his wife Frances-anne back to Falkirk from a hospital in Glasgow.

It shows Phil repeatedly telling the voice control system to call 'Re-Nu-It', a garage in Falkirk, but it doesn't understand his Glaswegian accent and continually tries to call one of his friends or tells him it's not possible.

Slowly but surely he becomes more and more exasperated by the ordeal and never manages to persuade the system to phone the correct garage.

My husband was driving me home from a hospital appointment and he was trying to contact our local garage Re Nu It in Falkirk to see about getting his beloved mini cooper roadworthy as we haven't had the money to do it. Every time he asked the voice control to dial the garage it would ask if he wanted to his ffriends BJ or Shug. At one point it even dialled our son kieran and one of pauls bosses. The more times paul tried to contact the garage the more irate he was getting as the car couldn't understand his Scottish accent. I couldn't help laughing. It would have been easy for me to just dial the number but it was too funny. At one point the controls even turned on the car heating system full blast and we couldn't turn it off. We were sweltering. Thankfully we didn't have any of the kids in the car at the time.
