Tiger Attacks Trainer in Spanish Circus
This is the shocking moment a tiger turned on a circus trainer, leaping on the man's back and clawing at his throat, back and legs.
An audience member captured the terrifying incident on his mobile phone during a circus performance in Madrid, Spain.
Circus workers ran into the ring with sticks to try and fend off the animal after it attacked Danny Gottani, a 35-year-old trainer who had been working with big cats for decades.
At the end of the video, Gottani can be seen walking unaided out of the ring.
Gottani, part of the Gottani Circus which had just set up in the Aluche borough of Madrid, was taken to hospital.
His injuries are reported to be non life-threatening.
