When it comes to receiving marriage advice, sometimes the best pieces of wisdom come from the most unexpected places.

A video, captured in California, USA, shows a collection of Uber (and other companies') drivers giving eight valuable pieces of advice to a man about to be married.

The filmer - the groom's brother - recorded the drivers as they called the man and gave him their recommendations.

"My brother's wedding was this past weekend in San Francisco, and my family all traveled out there to attend. No one owns cars out there because costs are crazy, so everyone takes Uber or Lyft," the filmer wrote online.

"My first ride from the airport, I had a great driver who asked why I was in town. I told him it was my Brother's wedding, and he was hilarious so I asked him if I could get video of him giving my brother wedding advice," he added.

The 2nd trip was a guy recommending they literally have as many babies as possible, which is funny because they don't want kids, so the idea grew legs and ran from there!

I have a decent enough background in making videos for work, and so I threw this together last night and sent it off to them this morning.

I reminded my brother it was not a checklist and they could just pick and choose their favorites.

He told me, "We ended up compromising and I put divorce papers in new and exciting places."

They're married now and couldn't be happier. =)
