Wailing mothers aims

The Wailing Mothers campaign has been formed to actively highlight the crisis that remains in our communities, where Mothers, Fathers, brothers, sisters, families and friends are grieving prematurely for young lives that continue to be taken through violence on our streets, this is a crisis and it has to stop.
The campaign is to let parents know that their children are our children; We care for them and there is hope. Change brings hope.

Wailing mothers is a vision that empowers mothers and carers to identify, recognise and understand the nature of youth violence at a very early stage of their children's life and how they can take measures to prevent, intervene and reduce the escalation of gang involvement.
