23rd October 2015 Clio Crash (Cat C write off)
I was driving to work when a lady who thought that a lorry was slowing down to let her out of a side road pulled out in front of me. She failed to look in my direction and I could not avoid a collision. There were no injuries in the accident and the emergency services were not needed. Afterwards she claimed full responsibility and her insurance company paid out as the car was classed as a write off due to panel damage being more than value of car. However I bought car back off the insurance company and it was repaired and back on the road shortly after with some dented panels still visible.
