This video tells the uplifting story of Ivore Daniels "who pretty much died" earlier this year when she went into a hypoglycemic state, which eventually resulted in her losing one of her legs.

The clip, filmed in New York, USA in June, features 'Ivy' dancing to Beyonce to show other amputees that just because "you're missing a limb, it doesn't meant you can't still do what you love."

She recently told her full story online, writing: "[On] January 8 2016, I went into a hypoglycemic state.

"My boyfriend came home from work ... and he saw that I wasn't breathing and had no heartbeat - I was pretty much dead."

"The paramedics came to our apartment and were able to resuscitate me, we went to the ER, they put me into a medically induced coma," she continued.

"While I was in that coma i was put through hypothermic therapy, and I developed a few blood clots and the doctors were able to pop most of them except the one in my leg.

"Since I was in a coma for all of this incident, I sort of woke up to one leg.

"I woke up saw that my leg was gone had a really really big panic attack, so bad that once a nurse had to hold me down.

"So after I'd heard everything from the nurses what happened, my parents, sister, and boyfriend explained everything to me in terms that I could understand - it took 5 1/2 months to heal.

"But once it was healed I got my prosthetic limb.

"In all honesty I like my prosthetic limb a lot more than my real leg, I think it makes me look hardcore - half woman, half machine.

"When I don't have my prosthetic on, my friends and I joke about I'm half mermaid, because what's left of my leg that was amputated looks like a little fin, but I'm obsessed with mermaids so it's okay.

"I made my first video of me dancing without a leg back in June, a few days before i got my leg and now I'm pushing myself to dance with my prosthetic - I just gotta go to physical therapy, twice a week.

"I want other amputees to know just because you're missing a limb doesn't meant you can't still do what you love - you only have to be a bit more careful."
