Incredible footage has emerged a professional pianist performing rock and roll music on a public piano at an airport in Rome.

The video shows performer Matthew Lee busting out some high energy blues-style music, attracting the attention of everyone within hearing distance.

"We were coming back from a concert in Sardinia, and I saw this brown piano at the baggage claim and I said to myself 'let's play some rock n roll here!' the filmer wrote online.

"I called the guys of my band and i told them to play with me, with a very good reaction from the audience!" he added.
