Amusing footage has emerged from China of a cheeky drivers using things like tyres, fire extinguishers and chairs to reserve parking spaces.

The video, captured in Hefei, Anhui Province last Sunday, shows the series of makeshift roadblocks, as locals attempt to reserve their places.

It's thought that people who own local businesses are reserving the spaces.

In the video, captured in Hefei, Anhui Province last Sunday, tyres, chairs, traffic cones and fire extinguishers are put in the temporary parking space on the side of the road.

Because the temporary parking space is limited, the commercial tenants there put some roadblocks to occupy it for themselves.
