Shocking footage has emerged from China of a car being dragged by a lorry after it got stuck to the trailer.

The video, filmed in Tongren, Guizhou Province on Tuesday, shows the red vehicle being dragged along by the apparently unaware lorry driver.

According to local reports, the car rear-ended the lorry during heavy smog and became attached to the back.

The lorry driver didn't notice and dragged the car along the motorway for more than 16 miles.

One person fainted but four other people managed to get out of the car.

No one was badly injured.
