Dramatic footage has emerged of a motorbike driver nearly hitting a cyclist, sparking road rage.

The video, shot by the cyclist in Reading this summer, captures the moment two bikers dangerously overtake the rider.

One of the motorcyclists then turns back and starts an argument.

"The biker was reported to the police," the cyclist wrote online.

At 15:25 on 12.8.16 I was cycling on Northumberland Ave, Reading going straight over the roundabout at Hartland Rd. The biker overtook me at speed on the roundabout and cut across me dangerously. The biker was reported to the police who are looking to arrest and charge him for no insurance, careless driving and riding on the pavement and also threats to commit assault. As a result of the video the police have information as to who purchased the Yamaha but have yet to be able to make an arrest. As the cyclist I committed no offence and the bicycle is entirely street legal.
