Sons of Anarchy fan battling cancer gets surprise visit from bikers
A heartwarming video has emerged of a Sons of Anarchy fan currently battling cancer getting a surprise visit from a group of bikers.
The footage, shot this month in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, shows Alexandra Johnston, 14, being presented with merchandise, including a leather jacket.
Alexandra was diagnosed on August 14 2013 with ewing's sarcoma cancer, and was told that she had 3-6 months to live.
"Alexandra was in intensive care and suffered from numerous infections, she also received many blood transfusions and platelet transfusions. After putting on a strong fight in July 2014 she was told the great news that there was no evidence of disease.
However, in January this year Alexandra had to go into hospital to get her gallbladder removed due to the effects of her treatment, a few weeks later she decided to do a biopsy. It was on March 17 this year that she was told the cancer was back.
On March 31, Alexandra started another cycle of chemotherapy.
Her father Andre wrote online: "During this last year our Alexandra has been the tower of strength to us all and been an inspiration to many."
