Rear End Collision DE15 WAA Monkswood Way Stevenage

I had woken up about 2 hours ago and felt a little bit peckish - so thought, "Why not pop out to Tesco", which was over in Stevenage, near the football ground.
There is one nasty roundabout on Monkswood Way that has a constant stream of vehicles pouring around it, so making a split decision to go is a very difficult one. On this occasion, I approached the roundabout carefully, and waited... I thought i saw a gap, but alas! A car came by, and so I waited a second more and BAM! DE15 WAA, A dark grey Volkswagon Golf collided with the rear of me. She pulled over at the entrance to the football ground and waited for me, giving her name rest of her details. My car is a hire car from Europcar because my company haven't even bothered to give me a company vehicle, despite paying company car tax through the nose. And it turns out that the driver who hit me works for Europcar and is based right near where I work in Bristol, so isn't it a small world? She was paying attention to the cars on the roundabout, as opposed to watching the vehicle in front of her (me), and so she assumed that I had gone when I was still sat there waiting for a safe gap to go. We all make mistakes, but remember to watch the immediate surroundings, and not just the place you think you are going to.
