A passion to convey his ideas in a different and funny way drew Kushal Bhattacharya in to the world of cartoons, while he was in architecture college, which slowly turned in to his passion supported by a couple of magazines/dailies regularly publishing his caricatures/cartoons.
Today he possesses a proud collection of several hundred cartoons and caricatures depicting every aspect of life, funny situations, popular personalities from Bollywood to our own Tollywood. Having drawn a large number of them over the years in different media, he has put up an exhibition of his works at the Visakha Museum on the Beach Road in the Visakhapatnam city.

Contrary to the black and white cartoon and caricatures, Kushal believes in giving colours to his dreams and does not lose time in giving a shape to an idea that comes to his mind, while struggling over several drawings and files as Project Manager in Manipal Hospitals here, gives them shape either with the help of a colour pencil, crayon, sketch pen, corel-draw software on the Personal Computer.

Back home from office, his daughter keenly watches him draw the caricatures, which are close to his heart and his strength in this skill and does not approve of any B/W work, so he was forced to use colour, and now he does not like B/W himself. Amitabh Bachchan, Dhoni, L.K. Advani, or Chiranjeevi, he has the right knack of capturing the strong points and putting it in the caricature so that the onlooker identifies them without a caption.
