Footage has emerged from the US of a mother asking her young daughter questions about US politics, and it turns out she does not like Hillary Clinton and wants Donald Trump to be President.

The video, filmed in Louisville, Kentucky on October 29, shows the mum asking the youngster, who apparently has watched the news more than she has cartoons over the last two years, who is going to win the election.

She replies "Donald Trump" before answering a series of questions about why she does not like his opponent Hillary Clinton.

Her mum later wrote online: "She asked to make a video for Donald Trump so I asked her some impromptu questions.

"Obviously, the little sponge has been paying more attention than I thought."

"She has asked me 'Why don't you like Hillary Clinton?' and I've given her a few different responses, apparently these are the ones she has remembered," she continued.

"More than anything, though, she just wanted to make sure that I sent it to Donald Trump."
