Firefighters rescue an elderly man trapped in wet sand
Footage has emerged from China of firefighters rescuing an elderly man trapped in wet sand.
In the video, captured in Wuhan, Hubei Province on September, a firefighter tied by a rope walks to the elderly man trapped in wet sand and gives the rope to him.
Then, other firefighters and some passersby pull the rope together to try to rescue him.
The 84-year-old man tried to swim back to the land after his boat capsized, but he got trapped in the wet sand.
Finally, he was rescued successfully.
But the firefighter who gave rope to the elder had to walk back by himself as the ropes they had were only enough to rescue the elder.
