Watch this Flybe Dash 8-Q400 make a firm landing at Birmingham Airport, UK after trying to negotiate strong crosswinds and windshear.
Here we have a video shot back on the 15th September 2013 from Sheldon Country Park at Birmingham International Airport (BHX/EGBB). The aircraft filmed is a Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 (G-FLBC) and appears to flare too late, possibly because of negative windshear or a change in wind speed, resulting in a loss of airspeed and hence a loss in height.
