The video, shot on March 6, 2016, shows Winston standing up in front of his classmates and leading them in reciting the poem.

World Down Syndrome Day 2018 is today, March 21.

Meet Winston. He is 7 years old (6 at the time of this video) and has Down syndrome. He confidently stood in front of his 1st grade class as he led them in reciting "I am somebody!" This video is a reminder and celebration of Winston's abilities and those with DS. We posted this on FB on October 28, 2016 for Down Syndrome Awareness month and in a few days has almost 10,000 views. We are so proud of him!
