Shocking footage has emerged from China of the helmet rescuing the scooter driver's life when he is hit by a falling down street light.
The video, captured in Weifang, Shandong Province last Saturday, shows a man lying on the ground under a street light with his scooter next to him.
When doctor takes his helmet out, we can see that his head is bleeding.
According to local news, the scooter driver was hit by a falling down street light when he was driving.
Because of the helmet, his life was rescued.
