Footage has emerged of doctors treating a man was hit in the head by a plastic screw, leaving it lodged in his skull.

The video, filmed in Wuhan, Hubei Province on October 20, features X-ray images which show the screw stuck in the man's forehead.

According to local reports, the man - only named as Wu - was hit in the head by the plastic item as he drove his motorbike home from work.

Surgeons managed to remove the screw and he is said to be recovering well.

According to local news, the man named Wu was suddenly hit by a plastic screw flying to him between his eyebrows, when he drove his motorcycle back home.

He fainted immediately and was sent to hospital.

Doctor did surgery for him to take the plastic screw out in two hours.

Fortunately, Wu was out of danger and he had a good recovery.

The case was still in investigation.
