Kodiak goat epic fail
I shot this video while on a solo goat hunt, in October of 2016 on Kodiak Island, Alaska, using my iPhone and through my Swarovoski spotting scope. On the float plane flight into the area where I was going to be hunting, my rifle scope got knocked off target, and my point of impact was changed approx. a foot high. After the goat walked out of the picture frame, I watched the video and was able to see where my shot hit. I turned by scope down approx. 1 foot, gathered up all my gear, and went after the goat. I was finally able to connect on the billy about 30 minutes later but I was unable to get the kill on film.
