Bizarre footage has emerged from China of a robot security guard helping grave keepers patrol a cemetery at night.

The video, filmed in Luoyang, Henan Province last Sunday, shows one of a number of robots dressed up in security guard gear, patrolling with the female grave keepers.

The video, filmed in Luoyang, Henan Province last Sunday, shows a robot dressed up like a security going on patrol with three women in a cemetery.

Eight female grave keepers were hired to go on patrol in the cemetery in 2011.

The cemetery spent thousands of pounds to buy the robot on October 2016 to accompany the female grave keepers.

The grave keepers said, the robot could help increase their courage and didn't make them feel only when they patrolled at night.
